Light milky clouds of gloomy disposition float by,
On blue backdrops in deepening moods
Peeping through the fallen autumn leaves
First of springs green plumes break free
Colors blossoming in deep purples and fuchsia shades
A bird held within a passion flits to and throw in wild abandon
A cat with tail a lashing surveys a tasty meal,
and sets about to assail the testy morsel
Book and glasses shatter as feline pounces
O poor bird flying too low to earth,
Failing to recall his wings were not of wax
Poetry about the light within the dark and the dark within the light. Nature and the sense and feelings it provokes.

When They Fall
When they fell
It rang like a tank
cheer
cheer
cheer
To the fallen
To the victor
Let the streets be filled with red
of banners flying high
Hear their voices
their fears
their hopes
Stand before the future
Take the slug
Cheer
Cheer
Cheer
For the fallen
For the victor
Hang
a wreath for the lost
Bow down but do not yield
Take a stand and
Fall for what is right

Wings
One wing of paper
The other of feathers
Flap one and you shall rise
Flap the other and you shall burn
The other of feathers
Flap one and you shall rise
Flap the other and you shall burn

The Fall
The fall
On the ledge of heavens light
We did fall
A great height
Darkness save us from the light
Our sins too tall to count
From maze of life’s angels
Deliver us
Souls unkempt
From the lions mane
On the ledge of heavens light
We did fall
A great height
Darkness save us from the light
Our sins too tall to count
From maze of life’s angels
Deliver us
Souls unkempt
From the lions mane
